Arctic Silicon Devices launches new product family

The Norwegian based fables analog chip company Arctic Silicon Devices, ASD, today introduced a new set of multi mode 8- to 14-bit Analog-to-Digital Converters, the BLIZZARD family, that provides unique functionality combined with industry's lowest power dissipation. The flexibility of the BLIZZARD family will allow customers to cut their BOM cost significantly.

With the launch of the new BLIZZARD product family, Arctic Silicon Devices AS reinforces its position as one of the leading vendors of ultra low power, high performance, multi mode ADCs. The company has implemented several proprietary design methods that provide a set of special features to this new ADC family. Among these is the on-chip Cross Point Switch that is unique in the industry today, and that enables the BLIZZARD ADC's to be configured as multi mode devices with multiple choices of channels, functionality and sampling speed.
