Incitia Ventures invest in Arctic Silicon Devices

Oslo, Norway, September 2nd 2008 – Incitia Ventures announced today that Incitia Ventures together with existing investor Proventure Seed have invested NOK 25mill, NOK 20mill and NOK 5mill respectively, in Arctic Silicon Devices AS, a fables semiconductor company based in Trondheim specializing in advanced mixed-mode microchips for industrial applications.

Arctic Silicon Devices was established in May 2007 by a complete team from the Oslo-Stock-Exchange-listed Nordic Semiconductors ASA to develop and sell data converters and application specific mixed mode signal processing chips (ASSP’s) in markets where high performance and low power dissipation are system critical. The team is internationally acknowledged within the mixed-mode signal processing community. Worldwide distribution is secured through a network of agents and distributors. First product will be market launched this year. Partner in Incitia Ventures, Jens Petter Falck, joins the board as chairman.
